Diet
If you’re not eating at least 5 servings of fresh fruits and vegetables each day, you are doing your skin a great disservice. Fresh fruit and vegetables are full of the nutrients that your body needs. In addition to boosting your immune system and providing a good source of antioxidants, an adequate serving of fresh fruit and veggies will help get rid of your acne.
There are certain foods that you should abstain from eating, such as fatty foods and sugar which do nothing for your skin. You should also consume at least 8 glasses of water daily in order to flush your system of toxins.
Cosmetics
Ladies, it’s time to lay off of the heavy foundations. Instead, choose cosmetics that are water based and hypo-allergenic. If you must wear foundation, make sure that you are washing your skin thoroughly each night in order to remove makeup residue.
